Cats are neat animals. They are also intelligent enough to be trained. Given those characteristics, it will be very easy for owners to teach their pets. Here are some tips to guide owners in training their cats to use litter boxes.

1. Cleanliness is a must for cats.

Sometimes, even if the cat is already trained in using litter boxes, the owner usually finds his pet urinating or defecating just a few inches away from the litter box. The cat wants to use the litter box, and this can be proven by the proximity of the waste to the litter box. However, because the litter box is dirty, the cat opted not to use it.

Cat training is not always easy, but it is possible if you want to have a well trained cat that will add a lot of fun, joy and laughter to your family. A cat that is not properly trained will not understand what is acceptable and what is not, which is why cat training is so important to both the cat and his/her owner.

These days, Persian cats are among the most popular breeds of cat. Well known for their gentle and sweet personalities and their long hair, Persian cats have very attractive features. They are great companions for virtually anyone, and not very demanding. Unlike other breeds, such as the Siamese breed, Persian breeds need very little attention.

Although white is the color normally associated with Persian cats, they actually come in a variety of other colors as well. During competitions, they are divided into seven color divisions – solid, silver and gold, tabby, shaded and smoke, particolor, bicolor, and Himalayan. No matter what color of Persian cat it may be, they are best noticed during competitions by their long and flowing coats.

Another case of a pit bull attacking other pets. Can someone put a stop to all these madness? The authorities should lay down stiffer penalties for dog owners guilty of letting their dogs roam wild.

Angora Cat

Named after the capital city of Turkey where this breed first originated, this breed was then imported to France where they contribute to the development of the Longhair. Surprisingly, they were left to decline and later vanished. The modern Agora cat in Britain is the result of a breeding program that involved the Oriental Shorthairs which carried the longhair gene.

Characteristics

Playful, Friendly

The origins of the American Wirehair can be traced back to a red and white kitten born on a farm in Verona, New York State, in the 1960s. Although cats with wiry coats were reported in Europe before 1960s, none was establishes as a breed. Later, American Wirehair cats are cross breed with American Shorthair to further develop the breed. This breed is rarely encountered outside the USA and an American Wirehair cat with curly whiskers is highly valued in its homeland.

What a journey! Do cats really have 9 lives? This cat managed to avoid cars, planes and poison planted to killed rats. Maybe someone can shoot an animation on this, could be a future blockbuster, you know!
