Hitting The Road With Your Cat
May 22nd, 2008 at 03:52 am by Cat Lover in Cat CareYour cat loves your company when you are at home. One reasons cats and humans have developed such a special relationship over the centuries is because of how much they enjoy spending time with one another.
So, what happens to your cat when you leave the home for a few days? Does your pet really enjoy his or her time alone? It’s far more likely that they are concerned about your absence and frustrated by loneliness.
Fortunately, you are a not required to leave your cat behind alone. A growing number of hotels and motels are welcoming pets. When you leave town, you can bring your cat with you. Pet fees are becoming increasingly nominal and as competition in the hotel marketplace continues to heat up, taking your cat on a trip is likely to become even cheaper.
So, should you bring your cat with you on a trip or is your pet better off staying at home alone? Pet travel decisions are going to be based upon one’s assessment of their animal’s personality. Travel may be perfect for some cats, but could be problematic for others.
