England has many places of interests that are noteworthy for a visit. If you have never been to England before for a holiday, there are many places that will excite and interest you even if you are a frequent traveler to many places.
One of the definite cities that you should visit is London which is the capital of England. In London, there are many bars, clubs and restaurants in London theatre district and not to mention countless cinemas for the party animal in you. You can be sure that you will have a great time over there. Another place that you should not miss is Oxford Street, home to many shops and department stores and is considered the longest shopping street in the world. Also check out the London Eye on the south bank of the River Thames.
Another city that you should visit is Manchester. Over at Manchester, it’s most famous export and a well known world icon is Manchester United Football Club. You can catch a concert by the famous Hallé Orchestra at the glittering new Bridgewater Hall or you can choose to visit the many galleries, boutiques and rejuvenated Victorian streets of the funky Northern Quarter.
If you are into arts, the next city that you should visit is Birmingham. Birmingham has many art galleries and museums such as the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery which has renowned displays of artwork that include a leading collection of work by the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood and the world’s largest collection of works by Edward Burne-Jones and other museums in the city such as Aston Hall, Blakesley Hall, the Museum of the Jewellery Quarter and Sarehole Mill. If you are an arts fanatic, you should not miss Birmingham.
