More and more people are picking up alternative forms of exercises or sports to build their health. Yoga, kickboxing, martial arts are all in rage because people want something different from the conventional sports or exercises that we are so used to in the past. Personally for me I prefer to join kickboxing. I find kickboxing rather intensive and good for those who want to develop character and build up their endurance and strength.

However, kickboxing is not for the faint hearted. You have exercises that are so intensive that it threatens to break every sing limbs and muscles in your body. I still remembered the first day at my kickboxing session and after the session has ended, I barely have enough energy to survive. The other thing that I like about kickboxing is the sparring sessions. You get to test out how good you are as your opponents rarely hold back in these sessions. That is why it is important to have some sparring gear to protect you and prevent injuries.
