All ingredients used in the making of a cat food must be listed on the cat food label by law. This is to ensure that all pet food consumers know exactly what ingredients go into the making of a particular cat food. This also prevents pet food manufacturers from putting unsafe ingredients into any cat food that may harm your pet. The first few ingredients listed on a cat food label are the main ingredients used according to weight.
As a responsible cat owner, it is important to learn how to read a cat food label. This will allow you to check whether a particular cat food contains any harmful or toxic ingredients that may harm your cat. To understand how to read a cat food label, check out our cat food guide.
Rest Of The Ingredients

Hill’s range of cat foods is highly recommended by a lot of veterinarians. The price per ounce for this dry cat food is similar to the cost of wet cat food. This is a great dry cat food if you have the budget. At this price, I would prefer to feed my cat on a diet of wet cat food instead of dry food. I would then supplement my cat’s wet food diet with this dry cat food. However, this does not take away the fact that this dry cat food comes highly recommended and trusted by lots of cat owners and veterinarians.
